Dear Brother and Sister in Messiah,
I urge you to join us in standing in the gap to pray and fast for God’s people—both Jew and Christian.
We are living in extraordinary times, a period that is witnessing the fulfilment of prophecy like never before. Hence why, we are seeing an increase in antisemitism and persecution of Christians.
During Purim 2025, we ask people to pray and fast for three days (13 - 15 March 2025). For those who can, we ask that you undertake an Esther Fast—no food or drink for three days. Now, some might think that it is asking a lot, but the reality is that our current situation is critical.
The rise in antisemitism is increasing, as is the persecution of Christians globally. Even in the UK, Christians can be arrested for praying in silence in certain areas or preaching the gospel in the street.
So, what are we praying for?
Firstly, we are praying for the Jewish people: We are asking people to pray for the Jewish people to understand the perilous times and thus to make Aliyah—return to the promised land.
But why return now?
We read in Revelation 12 that when the Devil is permanently thrown out of heaven, he makes war against the Jewish people. Jesus, our Messiah, also spoke of this event in a conversation with His disciples. Jesus informed them that in a future event, Jerusalem would be surrounded, and the abomination of desolation would take place. When this happens, those in Judea are to flee to the mountains. However, when they flee, the Devil pursues them, seeking to kill them. But God supernaturally protects them. Those who flee go to the place God has prepared for them to keep them safe for a period of three and a half years.
Consequently, for the Jewish people to go to the place of safety, they MUST be living in their own land. If they do not, following this event, they will be persecuted, hunted and killed in an event unlike any experience before. It is even worse than the Holocaust, which ended 80 years ago.
For the Church to repent and prepare for judgment.
But why do I say that?
The church, the body of Messiah, has, for the most part, become lukewarm and woke. It has embraced liberal theologies and become more like the world. The gospel has been watered down as sin has been rebranded so as not to offend. Consequently, the lukewarm gospel is powerless and inept at bringing transformative change.
Churches today allow drag queens to take services and to give children's messages, while others repent of calling homosexuality a sin and permit homosexuality, as they bless what God has declared to be unholy because they have embraced an inclusive ideology rather than standing on the word of God. The church resembles the world more than a people set apart unto the Holy God.
In some seminaries, through embracing liberal inclusivity, they preach and bless people in the name of the queer god. We see liberal sexual practices being accepted within the church, as is abortion. Promiscuity and infidelity among Clergy, church leaders and Christians are becoming common, and most do not speak out for fear of being vilified or labelled a bigot. The spiritual health and biblical illiteracy within the church are alarming.
Consequently, it profanes the Holy Name of God. Thus, it needs to repent. However, we must understand that judgment is here and must occur. The severity, however, depends on repentance.
Therefore, we ask people to pray and fast for the church to wake up, see the perilous times we live and repent—turn from its wicked ways and commit to walking holy before God. Then, commit to proclaiming the gospel while preparing for perilous times and persecution as God judges.
If you will hold an event, please sign up by completing the form below, so we can stand together as one voice.
Never has the need been so great for the people of God to pray and fast.
Blessings,
